The first reactions to director Matt Reeves's Dawn of
the Planet of the Apes are good, it seems that the movie is superior to Rise,
one of this summer's best movies, and a "cinematic masterpiece disguised
as a summer blockbuster".
In addition to the reactions, check out the 10 minutes
of B-Roll footage from Dawn of the Planet of the Apes.
Opening on July 18th, Dawn of the Planet of the Apes
stars Andy Serkis, Keri Russell, Gary Oldman, Kodi Smit-McPhee, Kirk Acevedo,
Toby Kebbell, Enrique Murciano and Judy Greer.
I'm not sure if I'm allowed to tell you "Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes" is awesome. I should find out.

I really liked RISE, but I think DAWN is WAAAAY better. The ape stuff alone is complex, emotional and totally cool.

DAWN OF THE PLANET OF THE APES is a true cinematic masterpiece disguised as a summer blockbuster. I could not have been more impressed.

Michael Giacchino's score for Dawn of the Planet of the Apes would've made Jerry Goldsmith proud.

Dawn of the Planet of the Apes Official Synopsis:
A growing nation of genetically evolved apes led by
Caesar is threatened by a band of human survivors of the devastating virus
unleashed a decade earlier. They reach a fragile peace, but it proves
short-lived, as both sides are brought to the brink of a war that will
