Following the
recently released teaser, here is the first poster for Guillermo del Toro and
Chuck Hogan’s upcoming new show, The Strain starring Sean Astin, Kevin Durand,
John Hurt, Mia Maestro, Corey Stoll, Jonathan Hyde, Richard Sammel and Jack
Kesy.
The Strain follows
Dr. Ephraim Goodweather (Stoll), the head of the CDC Canary Team from New York,
who with his team are called to investigate a mysterious viral outbreak of what
seems to be ancient strain of vampirism. As the virus spreads Eph, his team and
a group of everyday citizens fight for survival in the streets of New
York.
The Strain
premieres this July on FX.
