Concept Art From The Scrapped Logan's Run Remake

For years now, Warner Bros. has tried repeatedly to develop a remake of the cult classic 1976 sci-fi film Logan's Run, based on the 1967 book of the same name by William F. Nolan and George Clayton Johnson. First was Joel Silver in the mid-90's, then Bryan Singer in 2004, after him was Joseph Kosinski in 2007, three years later the studio brought in Erik Rinsch, who soon departed to go work on 47 Ronin. In 2011 Drive director Nicolas Winding Refn took the challenge but that never took of either, despite having Ryan Gosling and Rose Byrne cast, and in June of last year, Bioshock creator Ken Levine was hired by the studio to write a new screenplay, but since then no update has been divulged.

In 2005 a sort of remake was done by Michael Bay starring Ewan McGregor, Scarlett Johansson, Sean Bean, Steve Buscemi, Dijmon Hounsou and Michael Clarke Duncan, titled The Island.

Below are three pieces of concept art made by EdNatividad for the Joseph Kosinski version of the film, which was said to be a low-budget version.
