Production on Avengers: Age of
Ultron has started. The film has begun shooting in Johannesburg, where it will
stay for the next couple of weeks, before moving to Italy and then South Korea.
Apparently a portion of the Johannesburg's
Albertina Sisulu Road was closed between 7am and 7pm for shooting and will
continue to be closed for the remaining period of production.
"We are excited to host
Marvel," said Johannesburg Mayor Parks Tausaid in an earlier statement.
"It strengthens Johannesburg's position as a worldwide film production center
with first class facilities and production support. It also has a very positive
impact for the region and is a great opportunity for the city to be showcased
to a worldwide audience."
Avengers: Age of Ultron hits theaters
on May 1st, 2015.
