Christoph Waltz has been tapped
to star in the love story Tulip Fever opposite Dane DeHaan and Alicia Vikander.
The title is a 17th century Dutch commodities market term in which a
single tulip bulb would sell for at least ten times the average annual salary.
“The movie details the story of
love affair between a man and a woman at a time when Dutch painters were
creating paintings that would go on to become dubbed masterpieces.”
Waltz’s role is yet unknown but
the project is set to enter in pre-production this April.
