Fox Searchlight has unveiled
their new viral website for Wes Anderson’s The Grand Budapest Hotel. The site
called Akademie Zubrowka chronicles the faux history of the Republic of Zubrowka
where the Hotel is located. Through the website you can explore the Republic’s
rich history, from the detailed political, cultural and artistic world of 20th
century Zubrowka to the military coup of 1935.
The Grand Budapest Hotel takes
place in early 20th century Hungary and is focused on what happens in the
titular hotel, where a renowned concierge (Ralph Fiennes) takes a young
employee (Tony Revolori) under his wing as a protégé.

Hotel is F. Murray Abraham, Edward Norton, Mathieu Amalric, Adrien Brody,
Willem Dafoe, Lea Seydoux, Jeff Goldblum, Jason Schwarztman, Jude Law, Tilda
Swinton, Harvey Keitel, Tom Wilkinson, Bill Murray, Owen Wilson, and Saoirse
Ronan.
The Grand Budapest Hotel is
scheduled to open on March 7th, 2014.
