The buzz on the street is that
actor Donal Logue has been offered the role of James Gordon in the upcoming
Gotham series, written by Bruno Heller (The Mentalist). The series will feature
a yet to be Commissioner Gordon, a Bruce Wayne that didn’t even think about
donning a costume and roam by night the streets of Gotham fighting crime, and apparently
at least three villains in the making, Riddler, the Penguin and Catwoman.
Logue is no strange to work on
properties based or adapted from comics, in 1998 the actor starred as Quinn in
Stephen Norrington’s Blade, in 2004 the actor appear in director’s Shari
Springer Berman and Robert Pulcini’s American Splendor as Jack and in 2007 he
appeared as Mack in Mark Steven Johnson’s Ghost Rider.
In between the actor starred in innumerous
other roles and projects among which Grounded for Life, Terriers, E.R., Cooper,
House and Sons of Anarchy.
