Sony is looking to take the Bad Boys franchise to a third movie and is in talks with screenwriter David Guggenheim (Safe House) to write the script. The last time both Bad Boys work together was in the 2003 Bad Boys 2, directed by Michael Bay who at this point isn’t attached to direct the film, but Jerry Bruckheimer will return to produce.
Guggenheim is
currently working on Safe House 2 but also worked on Doug Liman’s Narco Sub,
McG’s Puzzle Palace and a new draft of Uncharted: Drake’s Destiny for Sony.
