Well today is The Amazing Spider-Man 2 day. The anticipated trailer came out, there were some new images released and now some more news have been made available.
Actor Colm Feore was one of the actors that didn’t
have his character revealed, until now that is. Rumor was it that the actor was
going to play Adrian Toomes, aka The Vulture, a villain of the Spider-Man
universe who sucks the life “force” out of people in order to maintain his decrepit
old body. Then there was some speculation if Feore could be playing Spencer
Smythe, the inventor of the Spider-Slayers, but now according to the film
official website the actor will be playing Donald Menken,…who?
Donald Menken was the personal assistant of Norman
Osborne (Chris Cooper), and that’s it. Unless there is going to be some great
reveal about Feore’s character in the film, in which he was posing as Menken
but he secretly is X, then there isn’t much of a point talking about the
character, still it’s hard to believe that Feore was cast to such a small part,
let’s hope not.
