News regarding The Crow reboot are slim at best, besides knowing that F. Javier Gutiérrez is directing and that Luke Evans will play Eric Draven, not much is known about the film except that it will be more faithful to the comic.
In an recent interview to Metro UK, the actor spoke
about the tragedy of Brandon Lee’s death, the themes of the film and that the
film will be very close to the source material.
"It is incredibly sad that Brendon died making
the movie. He was a very talented actor. It is a very beautiful story, The
Crow. It is a very tragic story with huge emotional themes. We plan to tell the
story differently and with a lot of integrity to the original comic book."
No release date has yet been announced.
