Here is the first trailer for John Curran’s Tracks starring Adam Driver, Mia Wasikowska, Emma Booth, Carol Burns, Melanie Zanetti and Jessica Tovey. The film is based on the true life story of Robyn Davidson (Wasikowska), who in 1975 decided to walk from Alice Springs in Central Australia all the way to the Indian Ocean, a distance of approximately 1,700 miles. Adam Driver plays a National Geographic photographer called Rick Smolan, who checked in on her from time to time because the magazine was sponsoring her travel.
The Weinstein Company has the distribution rights but
so far there isn’t a release date.
