Actor Christian Bale seemed to be having a pretty good year, starring in two fairly good movies, Out of the Furnace and American Hustle and with another two films already shot.
The other two films that the actor had shoot were directed
by the recently prolific Terrence Malick, with one of the films focused on the
music industry and another on Hollywood, Knight of Cups. Bale stared in the
latter but also shot some scenes in the music film, but now according to the
actor he might be cut from the music picture.
In a recent interview with TOH! the actor confessed
that he wasn’t able to work 100% on the untitled music film, which also stars
Ryan Gosling, Rooney Mara, Cat Blanchett and Haley Bennett.
“With Knight of Cups I was there the whole time. The
other one I unfortunately wasn’t able to do everything I was meant to do, so I
ended up doing like three, four days on that. Which in Terry’s world means
you’re never going to see me in it.”
Meanwhile Knights of Cups stars Bale, Blanchett and
Natalie Portman.
“I’ve been doing [Knight of Cups post-production] for
months. Terry is on fire. They’re both going to get finished. There’s no doubt
about it. WHEN, I can’t tell you. But they’re both going to get finished. He’s
just lit up. He’s possessed.”
