In light of so much talk, rumor and speculation, Disney has decided to put an end to all that by announcing that J.J. Abrams’ Star Wars: Episode VII will be opening in 3D on December 18th, 2015, and that’s that.
The project
has recently come under some public and fan scrutiny after reports came out
that the hired writer had left the project, only to be replaced by Lawrence
Kasdan and that the producer had asked Disney to delay the film original
release date to 2016, but was ultimately denied.
So
Disney will have a packed 2015, not only with Star Wars: Episode VII in
December, but with The Avengers: Age of Ultron, Brad Bird’s Tomorrowland also
and Pixar’s Inside Out all in May.
