With Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy in his back pocket, actor Chris Pratt is now in the early stages of negotiations to star in director Colin Trevorrow's new installment in the Jurassic Park franchise, Jurassic World.
Pratt
already seen is character appearance on Parks and Recreation
shortened because of the shooting in Guardians of the Galaxy, so for
him to appear in Jurassic World scheduling issues must be put out of
the way first.
Josh
Brolin was also in negotiations to lead the picture but negotiations
broke down. The studio is also looking at Irrfan Khan (Life of Pi) to
star in a supporting role.
If
both actors join the Jurassic World, then both will co-star with
Bryce Dallas Howard, Nick Robinson and Ty Simpkins.
Jurassic
World opens on June 12, 2015.
