The anonymous
poem written sometime between the 8th and 11th centuries, Beowulf is set to be
redone as a tv series for Syfy. The series will be written by 1408 scribe Matt
Greenberg and will be executive produced by Michael Chechik, Andrew Cosby,
Paulo de Oliveria, Matt Greenberg and Brian Hamilton.
The
last adaptation of the Scandinavian hero Beowulf was done by Robert Zemeckis in
2007.
