Despite the lack of any actual filming, production on Jurassic World seems to continue in full force. Previously we reported that actress Bryce Dallas Howard was in early talks for the lead female role in Colin Trevorrow’s new installment in the dino franchise; today comes news of one cast and a possible choice for the lead male character.
Per
Deadline, 12 year old actor Ty Simpkins (Insidious and Iron Man 3) has been
cast for what we can assume will be a role similar to those of the children in
the first installment, which was being terrorized by dinosaurs.
The
other name being thrown is that of New Girl co-star Jake Johnson, which if true
could be playing the lead role.
