There
have been lots and lots of rumors about the new installment in the Star Wars
franchise, from the Emperor appearing as a ghost or in a new body, to Darth
Maul being alive and kicking (pun intended), to Ford, Hamill and Fisher
returning to their roles. Ford is hesitant, Hamill seems to be getting into
shape for the role and Fisher who knows, but there are other characters that
could come back. There have been reports that J.J. is looking for a tall man
for some unknown role, maybe Chewie, and now there seems to be another very well-known
character, which I believe is fluent in “over six million forms of
communication” that is coming in.
At
his spotlight panel at this year’s NYCC, actor Anthony Daniels answered some
questions, among which if he would reprise his role as C-3PO?
“Walls
have ears. And we know what they look like. They’re very big ears…” said
Daniels about not being able to speak about the new installment, but by the end
of the panel, someone asked him how did feel about being the only actor ever to
appear in all six episodes.
“Yes,
I am the only actor to be in all seven because I feel -” Oops! “Six! Whatever.”
What
