Per Deadline, actor Jason Statham is currently in talks to star opposite Melissa McCarthy in Paul Feig next film, Susan Cooper, which will be a female driven spy comedy.
Susan
Cooper will be McCarthy’ and Feig’s third film together after Bridesmaids and
The Heat.
Statham
has two big tentpole films coming in 2014, The Expendables 3 and Fast &
Furious 7.
