Since its premiere, Sleepy Hollow has been one of FOX’s biggest successes in this year’s Fall premiere race. With its quirky lead character (Crane) and good storytelling, Sleepy Hollow is quickly becoming one of this year’s most entertaining shows so far, which lead the studio to renew the series for a second season.
In a
recent interview to CS at NYCC, co-creator and executive producer Alex
Kurtzman, and director, co-creator and executive producer Len Wiseman talked
about some new creatures that will be appearing in upcoming episodes, the
Scarecrow and the Golem.
Wiseman
talked about the Scarecrow:
“…we
have our version of the scarecrow, in terms of another twist on the classic
character that ties into our mythology in a away he never seen before.”
Then
Kurtzman added something about the Golem:
“We
have a version of the golem coming up, which is a character that has been in a
bunch of different mythologies, but the fun part is that we plan with enough advance
warning that we can build these designs in a way that is really cool and we are
not throwing them together in the last minute.”
Wiseman
and Kurtzman also hinted that as the show progressed Moloch, the blurry monster
in the mirror will not only appear more but be more visible, and that the
townies of Sleepy Hollow will eventually become more aware of the things that
are going on.
