Three
months ago news that Yuen Wo Ping, the fight choreographer for The Matrix, Kill
Bill: Vol. 2 and coincidentally The Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon was set to
direct the sequel to the ladder, Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon – The Green Destiny
and that actor Donnie Yen (Ip Man) was set to lead and actress Michelle Yeoh
was set to return to her character.
Now
according to EW actress Ziyi Zhang is currently in talks to reprise her role as
Jen Yu. A source says that “Zhang’s part would be shot as flashbacks to explain
what happened to her character.”
Production
is set to start in March of 2014
