After
Rush, which opens next month director Ron Howard is already planning his next
movie, In the Heart of the Sea, which tells the real story of the whaleship
Essex that got rammed by a sperm whale, letting the surviving crew drifting in
three small boats for 90 days in mid-South Pacific. The crew eventually started
to die, from dieses and hunger, which eventually led to cannibalism. As you
might be thinking by now, it was the story or one of the stories that inspired
Herman Melvile to write Moby Dick.
At this
point Chris Hemsworth, Benjamin Walker, Cillian Murphy, Ben Whishaw, Tom Hollan
and Brendan Gleeson are cast and should begin rehearsals next week.
Meanwhile
Howard went on twitter and sent three images from the production. The images
show some of the ocean sequences being studied.
