Actor Chris Pine is doing one successful franchise after another, first with Star Trek and now Jack Ryan, or should I say Jack Ryan: Shadow One
In
the new Jack Ryan installment, "Pine takes the character to its beginning,
where the injured Marine is recruited by CIA vet Kevin Costner to work as a
high-level analyst. The two are pitted against a Russian oligarch (played by
Branagh) who is pulling the strings of the financial market and delving into
international terrorism with potential global catastrophic results."
Starring
in the Jack Ryan movie is Chris Pine, Keira Knightley and Kevin Costner and
Kenneth Branagh who is also the director.
Jack
Ryan: Shadow One opens in the UK on December 26th, 2013.
