Wong Kar-Wai’s is one of my favorite filmmakers and Fallen Angels (a must see) is one of my favorite films of all time despite me being a little bit of a sci-fi geek, so it’s with great pleasure that I post the new theatrical trailer of The Grandmaster (Yi dai zong shi), which tells the story of Ip Man, the Wing Chun master who among other things trained Bruce Lee. Starring in the film is Tony Leung Chiu Wai, Zhang Ziyi, Hye-kyo Song and Cung Le.
The Grandmaster
opens in the US on August 23rd.
