According
to Variety, Eric Bress, one of the co-directors of the first Butterfly Effect,
starring Ashton Kutcher and Amy Smart, is on board to script the reboot, alongside A.J. Dix,
Anthony Rhulen, Chris Bender, JC Spink and Navid McIllhargey as producers.
At
this point no director or cast have been announced.
