At a
panel at Comic-Con, Trey Parker and Matt Stone presented the upcoming South
Park video game, South Park: The Stick of Truth which has been ten years in the
making. After entertaining the crowd without letting any details slip, Parker
and Stone answered some questions from the audience.
Both
said that they wanted the game to look exactly like the show, emulating its “authentic
crappiness”. They went on to say that the game is an RPG,
which is centered in a new kid. One of the powers players can use is farts,
which the player can control both strength and direction. Parker says that
there won’t be any DLC (downloadable content) and that any ideas that don’t
make it into the game will be used for the show. There will be lots of music
from the show, but the player character will be silent. Chef will be appearing
and the game will include an anime.
