- About remaking RoboCop, Jose Padilha the director says “It’s just not a film you can do again, because it was perfect the day it was, so we just took the concept and made it relevant.”
- Actor Michael Keaton says his character; Raymond Sellars is a “big thinker”.
- Actor Samuel L. Jackson talks about his character, Pat Novak as “Rush Sharpton” he continues to say that Novak that says what he wants to say and makes anything so people agree with him.
- Joel Kinnaman, aka Alex Murphy, aka RoboCop says that Sellars’ company manages to save Murphy’s life by replacing his body from the neck down. He continues by saying that there will be an internal struggle between the A.I and his own humanity.
- Abbie Cornish, aka Clara Murphy says that Murphy’s family tries to humanize him when he becomes RoboCop.
- Kinnaman says that when he has to act with other actors, his visor comes up and when he is in action mode, the visor comes down, but he joked by saying that nonetheless he needed to practice his “jaw-acting”.
- The remake takes place in a future, where robots already exist but can only be used in foreign territories and not on domestic soil, but Sellars finds a way around it by putting a man inside the robot.
- The director goes on by saying that he believes that in the future humans and machines are going to become more part of each other and that RoboCop “is the perfect movie to address that.”
