During
the panel Katee Sackhoff said that what she likes about her character Doll, is
that she’s unapologetic and has big guns.
Then
the lead actor, Vin Diesel said that Riddick is driven by some sort of quest
for identity. And because this is Comic-Con, Dungeons & Dragons popped up
during the conversation, and Diesel said that the game was for him, very good
for the imagination, since players needed to play out their characters.
Diesel
continued by saying that because fans asked that the third film would be
rated-R, it helped, since they didn’t need 200 million to make the film. He then
added that they are proud of the film because it has the tone and style of
Pitch Black, with the mythology of Chronicles ”and you know you’ll end up in
the underverse”, said Diesel.
Now
about MARVEL:
During
the Q & A an audience attendee asked Diesel about his meetings with Marvel,
and what the future has envisioned for him;
“[The audience member] asked the one question I’m not supposed to
saying anything of?” said Diesel, adding that there is some big news
coming at the end of the month. Diesel then ended with a “Poor Marvel. Poor,
poor Marvel.”
