George R.R. Martin On Adapting His Work To Film

At Comic-Con the writer of the fantasy novel series A Song of Ice And Fire, George R.R. Martin talked a little bit about adapting the his work to film.

Martin said that currently an independent producer holds the rights for a Skin Trade adaptation, adding that hypothetically he would like “Paul Giamatti, William H. Macy or Steve Buscemi [as the werewolf]…”. He goes on by saying that he would love to see his other book, Fevre Dream, made into a movie, he also added that in that respect he had a meeting with a director at Comic-Con to discuss the production, but would not reveal the his name.

Well, since the show is a massive hit and Martin’s books became such a hot property, I wouldn’t be surprised if at least one film is a short way away.
