The last
news we’ve heard from the Avatar sequels came from actress Zoe Saldana, who
said that shooting on Avatar 2 will begin in early 2014. Today a new little
piece of information as come out, that James Cameron, who for the last four years
has been hard at work writing the script for the sequel has hired Josh Friedman
to help finish the script.
Friedman
is the man behind the award winning sci-fi series Terminator: The Sarah Connor
Chronicles and according to The Wrap, he has been recruited by Cameron to work
on the screenplay, but let’s just hope the he won’t be re-writing the entire
script.
For
the past four years Cameron hasn’t just been working on the script, he has been
working at developing the technology that allowed him to make Avatar, more
specifically underwater motion and performance capture, so we already know that
there will be some underwater scene in either Avatar 2 or 3.
