One
of the stars of Girls, Allison Williams who plays Marnie on the shoe is making her
way into feature films. According to recent news, Allison Williams will be
starring in Rosaline, an adaptation of the Shakespeare classic story of Romeo
& Juliet, in which the story is not told from the point of view from either
Romeo or Juliet, but from Rosaline, an ex-lover of Romeo. Directing this new
incarnation of the classic story is Michael Sucsy (Grey Gardens) and writing it
is Scott Neustader (500 Days of Summer) and Michael H. Weber (500 Days of
Summer).
About
the Fantastic Four reboot, not much is yet known about the project, except that
Allison Williams is “on the short” for the role, we assume of Susan Storm, aka
Invisible Woman, but the project that is being developed by FOX and that has
Josh Trank (Chronicle) as director is in a “very early talking stage ”. Besides
the director, what is already known is that Seth Grahame-Smith (Abraham
Lincoln: Vampire Slayer) just gave the last touches to the script done by
Jeremy Slater and that Matthew Vaughn, the director of Kick-Ass is going to be
the producer.
In
the meantime new news should arrive, since the movie is schedule to hit
theaters on March of 2015.
If
we all remember correctly, Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer, which
wasn’t that bad, ended with the appearance of Galactus, so can we expect a
continuation on that arc or are we going back to the origins of the characters?
