Some
time ago we announced that mutant brothers Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch were
the going to appear in Joss Whedon’s Avengers 2.
Now
because of a message via twitter, by the director Bryan Singer the universes
got mixed up. In the message, the X-Men: Days Of Future Past director announced
that he has casted the actor Evan Peters to play the role of Quicksilver,
brother of Scarlet Witch and son of Magneto.
Before he was an , he was just a REALLY fast kid. Thrilled to say is joining as .
Now
this imposes a question. What about Avengers 2?
Well
no one knows, but i’m guessing the Whedon is going to stick with both
characters.
One
of the problems here is that although the X-Men and The Avengers are Marvel
properties, their rights were scattered throughout different studios, so X-Men belongs to Fox and the Avengers to Marvel and
Disney, I’m guessing that the studios don’t talk to each other, otherwise this
mess wouldn’t happen.
The other problem is that us, the viewers are
going to be confused, because we are going to see the same character in two
different universes, possibly played by different actors.
Let’s
see what is going to happen.

Bryan or Whedon just call Bryan or Whedon and avoid this confusion.
