With less than a year for The Amazing Spider-Man 2 to
hit the theaters, Sony decided to bring the film for a panel at the San Diego
Comic-Con (July 18th-21st). Actor Jamie Foxx, who plays Electro,
tells Yahoo!Movies that “Now I’m
just waiting to get to Comic-Con and see how people respond to it.”.
So if you are going don’t miss it.
The Amazing Spider-Man 2 official synopsis:
“In The Amazing Spider-Man™ 2, for Peter Parker
(Andrew Garfield), life is busy – between taking out the bad guys as Spider-Man and spending
time with the person he loves, Gwen (Emma Stone), high
school graduation can’t come quickly enough. Peter hasn’t forgotten
about the promise he made to Gwen’s father to protect her by staying away – but
that’s a promise he just can’t keep. Things will change for Peter when a new
villain, Electro (Jamie Foxx), emerges, an old friend, Harry Osborn (Dane
DeHaan), returns, and Peter uncovers new clues about his past.”
The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is directed by Marc Webb and
starred by Andrew Garfield (Spider-Man), Emma Stone (Gwen Stacy), Jamie Fox
(Electro), Dane DeHaan (Harry Osborn), Paul Giamatti (Rhino), Shailene Woodley
(Mary Jane Watson), Sally Field (Aunt May), Martin Sheen (Uncle Ben), Chris
Cooper (Norman Osborne), Colm Feore, B.J. Novak, Brian
Haley (Phil Watson), Martin Csokas (Dr. Kafka) and Felicity Jones. The movie is
schedule to be released on the 18th of April 2014.
