During the development stage of The Amazing Spider-Men 2, director Marc Webb decided to shot the majority of the film in New York, the same as in the comics, but unlike the comics, the city has movement (people working, business are open, etc…), so while they can do some shots in New York, others need to be made in a stage, for instance a scene in Times Square, (which can’t be closed just because someone is making a movie with a guy in a spider-men costume), needs to be built somewhere else. So here are some photos of the construction of Time Square.

A new version of Hank McCoy aka Beast is going to be introduced in the upcoming X-Men: Days of Future Past. Director Bryan Singer has given a sneak peek at the new version of Beast. Singer is going to add to the cast of Matthew Vaughn's X-Men: First Class, some of the characters in introduced in the first movie of the X-Men, like Storm (Halle Berry), Rogue (Anna Paquin), Iceman (Shawn Ashmore), among others. So Singer shared through is twitter this picture with the following caption.

“Many a monster wears the form of a man; it is better of the two to have the heart of a man & the form of a monster”

Jessica Chastain will be reuniting after Mama with director Guillermo del Toro for Crimson Peak. In this new haunted movie, some cast choices have already be confirmed, Emma Stone (The Amazing Spider-Men 2), Charlie Hunnam (Sons of Anarchy and Pacific Rim) and recently Benedict Cumberbacth (Sherlock and Star Trek Into Darkness). Guillermo del Toro speaks about the film as a “very set-oriented, classical but at the same time modern take on the ghost story. It will allow me to play with the conventions of the genre I know and love, and at the same time subvert the old rules.”. Not much else is known about the movie or the characters except that the movie tells the story of a woman, who begins to suspect that her husband is not who he seems to be. Guillermo del Toro, Matthew Robbins (Mimic) and Lucinda Coxon (Wild Target) are the ones behind the script. The movie should begin production around February of 2014.

Jessica Chastain is also rumored to star in the new adaptation of the novel by Edgar Rice Burroughs Tarzan and she will be starring with actor Colin Farrel in Miss Julie.
