The critically acclaimed cartoon show about the sidekicks turn full fledged heroes of earth got scrapped. Cartoon Network, the company that makes Young Justice, had meetings with potential clients and promotional partners in which they showed the 2013 - 2014 lineup for the show, but couldn't get it passed and for those of you that watch the last episode of season 2, entitled Endgame, that aired yesterday this comes as a shock. But not only this Emmy Award Winner show got cancelled, Green Lantern: The animated Series also got cancelled. To replace them, they are going to bring up two new shows, Teen Titans Go! and Beware the Batman.
Teen Titans Go! will not be focusing on heroic battles or saving the earth or fighting supervillains but instead it will be focusing on the day to day lives of the teenage heroes, like pranks that got out of their hands or taking the driver's license. If this turns out to be the case i think they might lose some of you along the way.
Beware the Batman it's going to be a sort of regular hero cartoon tv show. It's Batman, Alfred and Katana fighting against Anarky, Ra's Al Ghul, Tobias Whale, Professor Pyg, Mister Toad, Humpty Dumpty, King Kraken, Axel Alex and Ten-Eyed Man. Anarky is going to be the main supervillain.
On a more personal note i though Young Justice was a good show and that it whould continue on, until at least the Justice League movie (see post) came through.
