The legendary actor Robert Redford that starred in The
Twilight Zone (1962), The
Great Gatsby (1974), Three
Days of the Condor (1975), All
the President's Men (1976), Out
of Africa (1985), Sneakers (1992)
and more recently The
Company you Keep (2012)
and won numerous awards including two Academy
Awards, one BAFTA, one David di Donatello Award, one Directors Guild of America, six Golden Globes and countless other wins and
nominations is negotiating his appearence in the 2014 Captain
America: The Winter Soldier. Although no details
have yet been released, for him to appear in the film, Redford should interpret one of the leaders of S.H.I.E.L.D. opposite Colonel
Nicholas Joseph "Nick" Fury, played by the great Samuel L.
Jackson.
At
this point all we can say is that Chris Evans (Steve Rogers/Captain America), Sebastian Stan (Bucky Barnes/Winter Soldier), Anthony Mackie (Sam Wilson/The Falcon), Frank Grillo (Brock Rumlow/Crossbones), Samuel L. Jackson(Nick Fury), Cobie Smulders (Maria Hill), Scarlett Johansson (Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow), Toby Jones(Arnim Zola), Emily VanCamp (Sharon Carter) and Hayley Atwell (Peggy Carter) are starring in the movie that is already being
shot.
In
the original story Bucky didn't die or disappeared from a
train, like it's portrait in the 2011 movie, but from an experimental drone
plain packed with explosives sent by Baron
Zemo to destroy a target.
After his "death" Bucky is rescued by the Russians,
brainwashed, given a new arm and thus becoming The Winter Soldier,
assassinating targets at the order of General Vasily Karpov and later on by Soviet general Aleksander
Lukin. This part of the story we believe is going to be on film, but who
knows things are always changing and what is good on a comic book may not necessary work on movie. Just wait and see.Captain
America: The Winter Soldier is schedule to hit the theaters on April 4th of
2014.
