Doug Liman is no
longer set to explore the dark corner of Warner Bros. DC Extended Universe.
The filmmaker has
dropped out of the supernatural project, and sources say that the studio is now
looking to rapidly replace him with another director including Mama and It filmmaker
Andy Muschietti.
Liman joined Justice
League Dark last August after leaving Fox's X-Men spinoff Gambit starring
Channing Tatum. Guillermo del Toro was previously attached to direct the
project.
In the comics, the original
Justice League Dark team included John Constantine, Phantom Stranger, Deadman, Zatanna,
Zatara, Doctor Fate, Etrigan, and Spectre.
