Jeff Goldblum Joins Jurassic World Sequel

Jeff Goldblum, who co-starred in Jurassic Park (1993) and The Lost World: Jurassic Park (1997), is set to reprise his role as the know-it-all mathematician Dr. Ian Malcolm in the upcoming Jurassic World 2.

The actor joins Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, James Cromwell, Toby Jones, and Justice Smith.

J.A. Bayona ("A Monster Calls") is directing the film from a script by Colin Trevorrow, who directed Jurassic World, and Derek Connolly.

Currently working on Wes Anderson's newest project, the animated comedy Isle of Dogs, Goldblum will next be seen in Marvel's Thor: Ragnarok, which opens in theaters on November 3.

Produced by Frank Marshall, Pat Crowley, and Belén Atienza, and executive produced by Steven Spielberg and Trevorrow, the untitled Jurassic World sequel opens in theaters on June 22, 2018.
