Ever since Samuel L.
Jackson's Nick Fury broke into Stark Tower to talk to Robert Downey Jr.'s Tony
Stark about the Avengers initiative in the post-credit scene in Jon Favreau's
2008 Iron Man, audiences have patiently seated through every credit of every
Marvel movie.
Last night, Guardians
of the Galaxy Vol. 2 was screened to critics, and in addition to the mostly
positive reactions, it was revealed that the film had four scenes scattered
throughout the credits. Gunn has since announced that there are actually five
scenes in total, but one is being held back until the movie hits theaters early
next month.
At this time, it is
impossible to detail what goes on in the four scenes given the embargo, but suffice
it to say that three include fun short scenes, while one as something more
substantial going on.
Guardians of the
Galaxy Vol. 2 opens in theaters on May 5.
