Yesterday at the Kids' Choice Awards, Paramount Pictures unveiled a clip
from Michael Bay's Transformers: The Last Knight. The clip features Isabela Moner rescuing a group of
children underneath a familiar robot in disguise.
In Transformers: The
Last Knight, Optimus
Prime finds his home planet, Cybertron, now a dead planet, in which he comes to
find he was responsible for killing. He finds a way to bring the planet back to
life, but in order to do so, he needs to find an artifact, which is on Earth.
Opening in theaters on June 23, 2017,
The Last Knight stars Mark Wahlberg, Anthony Hopkins, Laura Haddock, Stanley
Tucci, Jerrod Carmichael, John Goodman, John Turturro, Jean Dujardin, Gil
Birmingham, and Josh Duhamel.
The Last Knight shatters the core myths of the
Transformers franchise, and redefines what it means to be a hero. Humans and
Transformers are at war, Optimus Prime is gone. The key to saving our future
lies buried in the secrets of the past, in the hidden history of Transformers
on Earth. Saving our world falls upon the shoulders of an unlikely alliance:
Cade Yeager (Mark Wahlberg); Bumblebee; an English Lord (Sir Anthony Hopkins);
and an Oxford Professor (Laura Haddock).
There comes a moment in everyone’s life when we
are called upon to make a difference. In Transformers: The Last Knight, the
hunted will become heroes. Heroes will become villains. Only one world will
survive: theirs, or ours.
