The Aardman Studios has
unveiled the teaser trailer for Nick Park's ("Wallace & Gromit")
latest stop-motion animation Early Man.
Set at the dawn of time, when
dinosaurs and prehistoric creatures roamed the earth, Early Man tells the story
of how one plucky caveman called Dug (voiced by Eddy Redmayne) and his sidekick
Hognob, set off to unite his tribe against the mighty Bronze Age in a battle to
beat them at their own game and save the day.
Also starring Tom Hiddleston,
Maisie Williams, Richard Ayoade, and Timothy Spall, Early Man opens in theaters on January 2018.
Early Man continues the production partnership with Aardman and StudioCanal following the success of Shaun the
Sheep Movie directed by Mark Burton and Richard Starzak. StudioCanal is
co-financing and will distribute in its own territories, the UK, France,
Germany, Australia and New Zealand, selling worldwide. The BFI (British Film
Institute) is also a partner on Early Man.
