A quick-behind-the-scenes featurette for the upcoming xXx: Return of Xander
Cage has landed online. In it, Paramount shows us some new extreme footage, and
Vin Diesel saying he wanted to push the latest installment in xXx franchise further.
In the third explosive chapter of the blockbuster franchise extreme athlete
turned government operative Xander Cage (Diesel) is coming out of his
self-imposed exile and on a collision course with deadly alpha warrior Xiang
(Donnie Yen) and his team in a race to recover a sinister and seemingly
unstoppable weapon known as Pandora’s Box. Recruiting an
all-new group of thrill-seeking cohorts, Xander finds himself
enmeshed in a deadly conspiracy that points to collusion at the highest levels
of world governments.
Directed by D.J. Caruso ("Disturbia"), xXx: The Return Of Xander
Cage also stars Samuel L. Jackson, Nina Dobrev, Ruby Rose, Rory McCann, Toni
Collette, Deepika Padukone, Tony Jaa, Kris Wu, and Al Sapienza.
xXx: The Return Of Xander Cage opens in theaters on January 20, 2017.
