Rachel McAdams has
entered negotiations to join Jason Bateman in New Line's upcoming comedy Game
Night.
To be directed by
Jonathan Goldstein ("Vacation") and John Francis Daley ("Horrible
Bosses"), Game Night tells of a group of couples whose regular game night
turns into a real murder mystery.
Bateman, who is
currently in production of his new drama series for Netflix titled Ozark, will
produce Game Night via his Aggregate Films banner with partner James Garavente,
and Davis Entertainment's John Fox and John Davis.
Goldstein and Daley
penned the most recent draft of the script. Mark Perez and Dana Fox previously
worked on the script.
McAdams is coming off
an Academy Award nomination for her work on Spotlight, and her comic book debut
on Marvel's Doctor Strange.
