Even though we are less than a year away from the
release of Zack Snyder's first Justice League movie on November 17, Warner
Bros. has not been shy about preemptively starting to sell the movie to
audiences.
We have seen plenty of promotional images and teasers,
and today, in an EW exclusive, the studio has released a new image from the movie,
along with a commentary from the director and co-star Ezra Miller, who is
playing Barry Allen, a.k.a. The Flash in the anticipated project.
"Flash is Ringo
Starr," Miller told EW. "He annoys everybody, but he doesn’t have any
specific beef with anyone." The actor goes on to offer his character's honest
opinion of his fellow Justice Leaguers. "Uncle Fish Curry [Aquaman] is
very grumpy. Dad [Batman] gets grumpy too. (He’s had a long life of fighting
crime.) Wonder Woman is very considerate, so even though she’s annoyed with
the Flash, she’s still very compassionate."
Justice League also
stars Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Gal Gadot, Ben Affleck, Jason Momoa, Amber
Heard, Diane Lane, Jeremy Irons, Kiersey Clemons, J.K. Simmons, Jesse
Eisenberg, Willem Dafoe, Ray Fisher, and Ciarán Hinds.
Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s
selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince,
to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly
to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened
threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of
heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be
too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.
