Our first look at Alpha 5 is here, and oh boy! does he look different
from the original design that included a flying-saucer-shaped head, a totally rad
90's lightning bolt chest icon, and corrugated piping in his arms and legs.
Bill Hader's is voicing the robotic assistant to Zorgon and the Power
Rangers.
Directed by Dean Israelite, Power Rangers centers on five ordinary high school teenagers whom must become
something extraordinary when they learn that their small town of Angel Grove -
and the world - is on the verge of being obliterated by an alien threats.
Chosen by destiny, our heroes quickly discover that they are the only ones who
can save the planet. But to do so they will have to overcome their real-life
issues and band together as the Power Rangers before it is too late.
Also starring Naomi Scott (Pink), RJ Cyler (Blue), Becky G (Yellow), Dacre
Montgomery (Red), Ludi Lin (Black), Elizabeth Banks as Rita Repulsa, and Bryan
Cranston as Zordon, Power Rangers opens in theaters on March 24, 2017.
