Following a very
auspicious first season, Netflix has officially pulled the trigger on a second
season to Stranger Things, Matt Duffer and Ross Duffer love latter to the supernatural classics
of the 80’s.
With an additional
episode than its freshman season, the second season of Stranger Things will
consist of nine episodes set during the school in the Fall of 1984, which will
come out on the streaming giant in 2017.
The Duffer brothers
will continue to serve as writers, showrunners, directors, and executive
producers.
In the first season, 99
out of a hundred times, the missing kid is with a parent or relative. What
about the other time?
A love letter to the
supernatural classics of the 80’s, Stranger Things is the story of a young boy
who vanishes into thin air. As friends, family and local police search for
answers, they are drawn into an extraordinary mystery involving top-secret government
experiments, terrifying supernatural forces and one very strange little girl.
