Blair Underwood has
landed a series regular role on the second season of ABC's drama series
Quantico.
The two-time Golden
Globe nominee and Grammy winner will play Owen Hall, a charming, straight-forward,
and intelligent CIA officer, who has all of the rookie operatives eating out of
his hands. But for what purpose?
"Blair Underwood
is the kind of actor you dream of writing for. Be it romantic comedy, dark
drama, or high-octane thriller – there is nothing he can’t do," said series
creator and executive producer Joshua Safran. "We look forward to creating
a role that will showcase his huge range and boundless charisma."
Underwood's film and
television credits are a mile long. The actor is perhaps best known for his
roles on Gattaca, L.A. Law, Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., In Treatment, and Fatherhood.
