20th Century Fox has released yet another villain-centric
TV spot for Bryan Singer's X-Men: Apocalypse.
In the film, Professor Charles Xavier (James McAvoy),
Mystique (Jennifer Lawrence) and the rest of the X-Men find themselves in an
all out war against an all-powerful mutant known as Apocalypse (Oscar Isaac). With the aid of his Four Horseman of the
Apocalypse, the god-like villain intends to wipe out humans from the face of
the Earth and create a new world order.
Opening in theaters on May 27, X-Men: Apocalypse also
stars Olivia Munn, Michael Fassbender, Ben Hardy, Alexandra Shipp, Nicholas Hoult, Rose Byrne, Evan Peters, Lucas Till, Tye Sheridan,
Sophie Turner, Lana Candor, Kodi
Smit-McPhee, Josh Helman, and Tómas Lemarquis.
Since the dawn of civilization, he was worshiped as a
god. Apocalypse, the first and most powerful mutant from Marvel’s X-Men
universe, amassed the powers of many other mutants, becoming immortal and
invincible. Upon awakening after thousands of years, he is disillusioned with
the world as he finds it and recruits a team of powerful mutants, including a
disheartened Magneto (Michael Fassbender), to cleanse mankind and create a new
world order, over which he will reign. As the fate of the Earth hangs in the
balance, Raven (Jennifer Lawrence) with the help of Professor X (James McAvoy)
must lead a team of young X-Men to stop their greatest nemesis and save mankind
from complete destruction.
