The creator of FX's anthology
series Fargo Noah Hawley is ready to make his feature film debut with a mysterious
sci-fi film called Man Alive.
Not much is known about the
project, but first-time screenwriter Joe Greenberg describes it as "an
elevated sci-fi spec script" that 20th Century Fox acquired after paying a
six-figure sum.
Chris Bender, Jake Weiner, and
Jake Wagner will produce Man Alive alongside Hawley.
In addition to a third season
of Fargo, which he intends to start shooting this November for a potential
spring of 2017 premiere, Hawley is also developing the pilot for FX's X-Men-based
series Legion starring Aubrey Plaza and Dan Stevens, as well as a limited event
series based on Kurt Vonnegut's Cat's Cradle, a post-apocalyptic satire starring
a little person.
