A fantastic new trailer for the fantasy drama A Monster Calls has found its
way online. Based on Patrick Ness' award-winning children's novel, the film
follows a 12-year-old boy named Conor (Lewis MacDougall) who escapes into a fantasy world
of monsters and fairy tales as a way to deal with his mother's illness and
bullies at school.
Directed by visionary director J.A. Bayona (The Impossible), A Monster
Calls also stars Felicity Jones, Liam Neeson, Sigourney Weaver, and Toby
Kebbell.
A Monster Calls opens in theaters on October 14, and it has become one of
my most anticipated movies of this year.
