Danish actor Ulrich
Thomsen ("Banshee", "The Thing") has booked a recurring role
for the upcoming fourth season of NBC's hit drama series The Blacklist.
The actor will play Alexander
Kirk, a captivating a businessman whose intelligence and strong ethics have
made him someone to be reckoned with, which in the world of The Blacklist means
he will be coming after Reddington, Kirk's longtime nemesis.
Thomsen just recently
wrapped up his directorial debut In Embryo, which he also wrote.
Thomsen's other
credits include Sommeren'92, Thomas Vinterberg's The Commune, the Oscar winning
Hævnen ("In a Better World"), and Ridley Scott's Kingdom of Heaven.
